Ronnie Tarchichi is a dedicated educator whose career spans extensive academic achievements and leadership roles. His educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Philosophy from West Virginia University in 2004. Building on this foundation, he earned a Master of Education in Physical Education and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey in 2005. His passion for science and education led to advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Biology from Rutgers University and a Master of Biomedical Science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Between 2015 and 2018, Dr. Tarchichi completed two Master of Arts degrees from Rowan University, focusing on Learning Disabilities and Special Education. His academic pursuits culminated in two doctoral degrees: a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Rowan University in 2016 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education focusing on Special Education from Temple University in 2020.

In 2024, Dr. Tarchichi assumed the role of Executive Director of Education and Principal at the Mary Dobbins School & Legacy Treatment Services in Hainesport, New Jersey. In this role, he leads the academic and therapeutic programs for students in grades 5 through 12, focusing on their intellectual, emotional, and behavioral growth. His responsibilities include serving as Chief School Administrator and Building Principal, ensuring the continued progress and development of the institution.

Before his current role, he served as Superintendent of Pennsauken Public Schools from 2016 to 2024, where he managed a $172 million budget and introduced over 20 career and technical education programs. These programs, spanning fields such as carpentry, HVAC, culinary arts, and cosmetology, provided students with valuable opportunities for career preparation. He also spearheaded major infrastructure improvements, including a $7,000,000 field house and enhanced athletic facilities, enriching the district’s extracurricular landscape.

Prior to Pennsauken, Dr. Tarchichi served as Superintendent and Principal of the Woodlynne School District from 2013 to 2016. During his tenure, the district saw significant improvements in student achievement and facility upgrades. His earlier roles included administrative positions at Salem County Vocational Technical Schools and Mercer County Technical Schools, where he contributed to program innovation and curriculum development.

In addition to his work in K-12 education, Dr. Tarchichi taught as an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Rowan University from 2012 to 2017, preparing students for careers in health and science fields. His teaching extended to other institutions, reflecting his versatility as an educator.

Outside of education, he spent 25 years as Head Cook in his family’s restaurant. This experience instilled in him a strong sense of service and a commitment to excellence, which he carries into his leadership roles.
